UNDER CHARLOTTE'S BIG DOME

                                                                   October 28, 1963

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA

KURT and KARL VON BRAUNER and SAUL WEINGROFF

BRONKO LUBICH, HOMER O'DELL, ALDO BOGNI

The match the fans have been begging for will take place tonight as professional wrestling moves to the CHARLOTTE COLISEUM.

Promoter JIM CROCKETT, who is co-sponsoring this card along with the CAROLINAS CAROUSEL, says the main event on this big card has drawn "more requests than any other match since I have been promoting in Charlotte. And that's been more than twenty-five years."

The big match everyone has been asking for is a SIX MAN TAG TEAM battle. On one side are the vicious German brothers, KURT and KARL VON BRAUNER, along with their equally villainous manager, 'GENTLEMAN' SAUL WEINGROFF. Across the ring will be the threesome ruffians of ALDO BOGNI, BRONKO LUBICH and their manager, cane-welding 'COLONEL' HOMER O'DELL. The war is scheduled for the best two-of-three falls with a one hour time limit. These conditions should give the hated bunch time enough to do away with each other in the proper way.

GEORGE BECKER and JOHNNY WEAVER

RIP HAWK and SWEDE HANSON

Another tag team match is scheduled in the semifinal contest, normally any wrestling card's main event.

Fan favorites GEORGE BECKER and JOHNNY WEAVER will face a long-time nemesis in the guise of wrestling's "BLONDE BOMBERS" RIP HAWK and SWEDE HANSON. To say these two teams have their differences would be a gross understatement. This one is also scheduled for the best two-out-of-three falls with a one hour time limit.

'COWBOY' BOB ELLIS

'BIG' IKE EAKINS

Yet another specialty sees 'COWBOY' BOB ELLIS, who many say is a probable future World's Heavyweight Champion, taking on the tough and burly 'BIG' IKE EAKINS, straight from Harlan, Kentucky.

For the fans of the girl grapplers, PENNY BANNER faces newcomer JESSICA ROGERS, making her Charlotte debut, in a special event.

Two other newcomers also brighten the giant card which kicks off at 8:15.

BOBBY RED CLOUD, a Sioux Indian, takes on the crafty GEORGE 'TWO TON' HARRIS, and rugged DOCTOR MENENDEZ, a 250 pounder from the Caribbean, meets Canada's rugged FRANK VALOIS.

RIP AND SWEDE BATTLE DEMONS

                                                                    October 1, 1966

LEXINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA

RIP HAWK and SWEDE HANSON

PAUL DEMARCO

BOBBY SHANE

THE MASKED RED DEMONS
with GEORGE 'TWO TON' HARRIS

PENNY BANNER versus TAMMY JONES

A BATTLE OF THE BULLIES features professional wrestling tonight at the LEXINGTON YMCA with super roughnecks RIP HAWK and SWEDE HANSON going against the rowdy duo of THE MASKED RED DEMONS.

Both teams are known for their rough natures and lack of respect for the rules, and meeting each other tonight should pack quite a wallop. Fans who like it rough and tough should really get into this two-out-of-three falls battle.

Girl wrestlers will meet in a special one-fall event with the area's foremost female grappler, PENNY BANNER, meeting newcomer TAMMY JONES. Scouting reports on Miss JONES suggest she sometimes acts very unlady-like.

Popular and speedy BOBBY SHANE goes against the heavyweight veteran GEORGE 'TWO TON' HARRIS, and sometimes SHANE partner, PAUL DEMARCO, meets a tough one in the likes of 'BIG BOY' BLONDELL in supporting matches.

DEALING WITH DEMONS - RED ONES

                                                LEXINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA

JULY 2, 1966

Two new tag team combinations will be seen in action against a pair of established duets on tonight's LEXINGTON YMCA pro wrestling card.

Action kicks off at 8:15 p.m.

Popular GEORGE 'CATALINA' DRAKE and LUTHER LINDSAY will combine their talents for the first time to meet the rugged twosome of THE MISSOURI MAULER and THE GREAT MALENKO. DRAKE and LINDSAY are quick and agile and wrestle by the rule book. Across the ring, MALENKO and the MAULER are both rough wrestlers and have never heard of a wrestling rulebook.

Polished operators PAUL DEMARCO and KEN HOLLIS, both young guys loved by the fans, will join ranks to face off against the MASKED RED DEMONS in the other tag contest of the evening. The RED DEMONS continue to create problems for their opponents. In the short time they have been wrestling in LEXINGTON, they have taken both GEORGE BECKER & JOHNNY WEAVER, as well as GEORGE & SANDY SCOTT to the limit, one match by a double disqualification, the other a sixty-minute draw. Their identities remain a mystery.

Both tag matches are set for the best two-out-of-three falls.

Two singles matches, both promising lots of action, will send KARL GOTCH against big JOHN GUDISKI and popular STEVE BOLUS facing the veteran CORSICA JEAN.

COWBOYS and DEMONS and GERMANS...oh my!

                                                                  October 29, 1966

LEXINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA

TEX McKENZIE

KURT and HENRY VON STROHEIM

NELSON ROYAL

MASKED RED DEMON

EL GAUCHO

JESSE JAMES

ANGELO MARTINELLI

The torrid Texas team of TEX McKENZIE and NELSON ROYAL will return to the LEXINGTON YMCA tonight after a lengthy absence and will run head-on into the tough German brother duo of KURT and HENRY VON STROHEIM in the evening's main event. The Germans are on a hot streak, and the cowboys will do all they can to put a halt to their opponents' winning ways.

McKENZIE's towering 6 foot 9 inch, 290 pound frame, coupled with ROYAL's 230 pounds, gives the heroes a weight advantage over the brothers, who combine at 504 pounds. But the VON STROHEIMs are rugged, intelligent and down right mean. The best two-out-of-three falls clash should be a great one.

Another dangerous combo, the MASKED RED DEMONS, tangle with two more Texans in the persons of JESSE JAMES and KEN HOLLIS in the best-of-three falls co-feature. JESSE and KEN are fan favorites but will have their hands full as the DEMONS are tearing up all competition, fresh from a victory here last week over RIP HAWK and SWEDE HANSON, and that's no easy feat. The identities of the MASKED RED DEMONS remain an unsolved mystery.

Supporting matches pit a bright newcomer JIM OSBORNE taking on veteran JAN MADRID, and the 8:15 first match will find rugged EL GAUCHO against ANGELO MARTINELLI.
